Our internship program
We are currently seeking interns who are willing to work for experience, for course credit, or as a part of your school’s work-study program. Non-students interested in our internships may also apply. All interested applicants should complete the attached form and email it and a cover letter describing what they hope to achieve through the internship and a description of relevant course work or experience, and the contact information for three references to info (at) lasvegascac.org. If you are applying for work-study or course credit please include all relevant contact information for your school administrators.
Responsibilities and objectives
CAC interns will be immersed in all aspects of running a successful non-profit contemporary arts exhibition space including arts administration and communication, exhibition programming, grant-writing and development and our gallery docents program. You will be introduced to the operational structures and the working dynamics between the CAC’s Executive Board, Board of Directors, Gallery Coordinator, Exhibition Committee, and Fundraising Committee.
