Thursday, August 20, 2009, 6:00 PM Artists: Featuring the work of selected current UNLV MFA Students: Abby Coe, Victoria Hogan, Shannon Eakins, Laurenn McCubbin and Adam Stoves
The first MFA's at UNLV's Brand New MFA program christened what would be a storied program that throughout 20 Years of existence has produced artists that have reached the international stage, become leaders, advocates, organizers and educators.
In addition to this event the MFA English students will inaugurate one of hopefully many reading sessions by: Laura Breitenbeck, Jim Earp, Michael Kroesche, Andy Nicholson, Sean Tribe and Monica Zarazua
$7 dollar suggested donation for opening reception and reading. Gallery viewing is free during the rest of the exhibition dates.

Twenty years later two Las Vegas institutions celebrate the anniversary by exhibiting the work of the latest talent to walk the campus of UNLV. The CAC will be presenting a congratulatory exhibition to UNLV's MFA program and wishes it many future successes.
