All artists in Stop and Glow with the exception of Daryl Depry will enhance ACE transit shelters with their artwork at different locations once the ACE Rapid Transit launches in January 2010.
All artwork exhibited represent ideas and subject matter of each artist's proposal and final approved work. Each artist was asked by the curator to present original work that has either been created for the transit shelter proposal, shows the single pieces going into the final work or reinterprets their proposed pieces.
Stop and Glow has been funded by the City of Las Vegas, Office of Cultural Affairs and by Clark County, Parks and Recreation.
A special Thank You for ongoing support for this project to:
Michael Ogilvie, City of Las Vegas, Office of Cultural Affairs
Patrick Gaffey, Clark County Parks & Recreation
Joshua Abbey, Chairman Las Vegas Arts Commission |
